Jason Willer is a SF Bay Area native who began his musical journey in 1989. As a teenager he was already playing in night clubs locally, starting numerous punk bands including the Enemies which were on the east bays own Lookout! Records.
In 2001 Jason began drumming for one of Britain’s original punk bands the UK SUBS which led to sold-out shows and international touring. He later began working with Cleopatra Records leading to a career as touring and recording drummer for Nik Turner of Hawkwind and Brainticket. He has also played drums for Jello Biafra of The Dead Kennedys, Zounds, and The Mob, while composing music for his own bands Alaric and Cross Stitched Eyes.
Jason Willer continues to play with CHARGER, Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine while teaching drums in Oakland California and is a proud player of Brooks Drums & Paiste Cymbals
