We are very proud to be able to have our drums on stage at these wonderful educational camps in 2015. This is the 2nd year for Brooks Drum to be a part of San Jose Jazz’s Youth Jazz Camp. The list of faculty for these two camps is just amazing! San Jose Jazz Camp director Wally Schnalle has been sharing his knowledge and experience as a teacher, bandleader, recording artist, and sideman with many great Bay Area bands for the past 20 years. Brooks Drum Artist David M. Flores is a tireless student, performer, and educator. David has had the honor of working with local and international trailblazers including: Lauryn Hill, Donna Summer, Randy Brecker , Pete Escovedo and John Santos just to name a few. These guys are some of the best musicians/educators I have ever had the privilege of knowing ,and both have been long time educators at each of these great events. This year at Jazz Camp West we have none other than the great Albert “Tootie” Heath as well ! Please help support music education and consider contributing to one or both of these organizations.
